Talking to the young people of Kington

One of the first elements of this project is to gather the thoughts and opinions of the young people of Kington and the surrounding area. We want to find out what we could do to help make Kington an even better place to live, a place where young people can stay and enjoy the amazing place in which we live.

We are working with Rural Media, a Herefordshire based charity who specialise in working with and talking to young people. They have already started chatting to a range of young people from Kington aged from 13 to 25. At the moment these conversations are happening on Zoom in order to avoid spreading Covid, but we hope that we will be able to have some in person events as we move into 2022.

If you would like to be involved, are aged 13-25 and have thoughts about Kington, what could be improved, what would help your daily life, how you could help others or have any ideas you think could be included in our plans then please do get in touch. You can…
