Thank you, Congratulations and Good luck, Mari!

Since November, we’ve been fortunate to have the heritage and communications specialist, Mari Fforde working with us as our Consultations and Communications Coordinator . Mari has been responsible for designing and producing our website as well as all our publicity materials, and liaising with Rural Media on the Under 25s consultations. You might have met her at our events in the Place des Marines and or The Oxford Arms or read her pieces in the Parish Magazine and Mid-Border News. Mari’s research into the history of The Oxford Arms has enriched our knowledge of the building and of Kington as a place that was once well-connected by public transport compared to the situation today. Mari is moving on to take up a full-time position with the Hay Castle Project, where she will be the Learning and Activities Coordinator. We’re obviously going to miss her enormously but there is good news - she will continue to help with our website and newsletter. Thank you, congratulations and Good luck, Mari!
