About your teacher
Sarah Star is the author of numerous short stories, with her work featuring in various journals and anthologies including Riptide Journal and The White Wall Review, as well as being longlisted for the Fish Short Fiction Prize and the Costa Short Story Award. She is currently working on a short story collection, due out early in 2025.
Sarah holds a BA in film (University of Glamorgan) and an MA in Creative Writing (University of Exeter). She have taught creative writing at Exeter Uni and film at Glamorgan Uni, as well as running numerous independent workshops and developing her own creative writing programme, Wordcraft, which she ran as a weekly evening class for over 2 years in North Powys.
