Drop-in days at the Oxford Arms

We held our first drop-in morning at the Oxford Arms last week and were thrilled to see so many people coming in to say hello, ask questions and make suggestions. We had some wonderful chats with people about what they would like to see happening in the future, about what aspects of the pub they love and would love to see continue, about memories from the past and suggestions of how we can help make it work when we get the money to buy the pub from Fred.

People told us about other community pubs that they know or have heard of, about people we could get advice from and where we could promote our story. Thank you to everyone that came in and talked to us.

We have another drop-in day tomorrow - Thursday 17th Feb. This time we will be there from 10am until 1pm and then again from 6pm until 8pm.

We have some information posters that we have produced to help answer some questions and give some information about Open Arms Kington and our ideas.

Thank you to Fred for welcoming us in during these drop-in days!
